In 1952 Breitling launched the Navitimer. A watch featuring a circular slide rule serving to handle all calculations relating to airborne navigation. The world’s largest association of aircraft owners and pilots, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) chose the cheap 1:1 Breitling Navitimer replica watches as its official timepiece.
